Yewell was engaged to undertake a full capital allowances advisory service on this new build project. We provided capital allowances input to the design, feasibility studies and Value Engineering exercises; we provided preliminaries clauses for the tender and contract documentation.
We undertook the full capital allowances analysis, including a Land Remediation Tax Relief claim on the removal of buried contaminants and unexploded bombs; we reconciled the claims to the fixed assets for each financial year; and we will undertake any necessary negotiation and agreement with HMRC and the VOA if required.
