We are particularly experienced in this area. We have undertaken capital allowances reviews on in excess of £3 billion of new office projects. We are currently advising on 3 of the 5 largest projects in London.
Our involvement on a current £500 million development is as follows:
- Attending initial design team meetings to explore design planning opportunities.
- Providing capital allowances contract clauses for inclusion in the tendering documentation.
- Analysing total project expenditure and producing interim and final capital allowances claims.
- Liaising with HMRC/VOA in respect of site inspections during the construction project.
- In due course, we will undertake all necessary negotiation with HMRC/VOA in respect of the capital allowances claim.
